From Fragmented Tools to a Unified 3D Workflow

From Fragmented Tools to a Unified 3D Workflow

Intro

Obsphera is a SaaS ecosystem that transforms how companies create and use 3D content through two connected products:

Obsphera 360 → generates 3D models from photos and videos

Obsphera Studio → converts those models into marketing-ready assets.

Problem

From Fragmented Tools to a Connected 3D Pipeline

From Fragmented Tools to a Connected 3D Pipeline

As a Product Designer, I focused on designing a seamless end-to-end system, turning complex 3D workflows into an intuitive, scalable content creation pipeline. Users previously relied on multiple tools and manual workflows, resulting in:

50–200+ Production cycles

High costs

Limited scalability

Creating one 3D asset takes days, and we still need to use multiple tools to get the final output.

Marketing Manager

Teams were operating within a fragmented ecosystem of tools, where asset transfers, manual 3D processing, and repeated handoffs between specialists created unnecessary complexity and slowed down delivery. As a result, a significant portion of their time was spent managing workflows rather than producing value.

Solution

Designing an End-to-End Content System

Through stakeholder interviews, workflow mapping, and the identification of bottlenecks across the content pipeline, it became clear that the core issue wasn’t capability but coordination. This led to a shift in approach: streamlining processes and consolidating key steps into a more cohesive system. I designed a connected 3D ecosystem that simplifies the entire workflow—from capture to content creation—while making it accessible to non-experts.

Unifying the Workflow

Learnings

Designing Systems, Not Features

The challenge wasn’t the ability to create 3D content — it was the lack of a connected, streamlined workflow that could support it at scale. Key Learnings - Workflows over tools The value isn’t in individual tools, but in how seamlessly they connect. - Connection drives impact Linking steps across the pipeline unlocks exponential efficiency. - Simplicity enables scale Reducing complexity makes solutions easier to adopt and expand. - Systems create efficiency Thinking end-to-end minimizes friction and improves overall performance.
